At an open meeting held recently, members of the club discussed the future of Sherston Magna CC. Chairman John, joined by Will and Matilda Matthews hosted a lively discussion covering a wide range of subjects including both Saturday and Sunday teams, ladies, practise facilities at the ground, the junior set-up, club organisation and communication. The club has now been playing at Pinkney Park for twenty years and plans are in place to renew and extend arrangements due to expire in April. The club wishes to sincerely thank the Matthews for supporting the club with, in our opinion, one of England’s finest grounds at which to play cricket.
