On a lovely spring morning good numbers showed up to support the clubs ground-­‐force day on 6 April. Work to prepare the covers, test the machinery, clean the pavilion, hand-­‐roll and mark the square and roll outfield kept everyone busy. Probably the most encouraging work completedwas the successful replacement of the rotten strut on one of the sightscreens. Both sightscreens are now in place and ready for the season ahead.
