Saturday 9th April will be ground force day and preseason drinks. There is lots to do to get the amazing ground at Pinkney Park ready for the season, with junior nets starting Monday the 11th (6.15) and Seniors (some very senior!) on Tuesday the 12th (6.30 pm).

So please could as many people as possible get down to the ground for 10am as the saying goes many hand…… some of the jobs grass mowing, square rolling and marking, artificial nets brushing and securing, covers need recovering, debris collection and equipment and pavilion checking! Andy Jarvis will be there to coordinate.

Following this little bit of physical labour you will have earned a drink or two!

John and Matilda therefore invite senior players, partners, parents of juniors, prospective members and friends of the club to a pre-season drinks party at Pinkney Park starting at 6.30pm, providing you with the opportunity to replenish those lost calories and quench your thirst from earlier in the day!

The club thanks John and Matilda for their kind invitation. It’s a good chance to get the club together, for some cricket (and non-cricket at a push) chit chat.
